Skillz!

Whoo hoo!  Robot Boy has leveled up and can at last sit up by himself.  I reckon he’s right on the verge of crawling too… or he ought to be given the desperation that’s going on.

To mark the occasion I took him along to ‘Level 2’ Gymboree class today…  **wipes  sweat from brow**

If level 1 Gymboree is a masonic society of babies lying in a circle listening to arcane songs whilst having things waved over their heads, level 2 is an hour of high-impact aerobics in zany colours with a terrifyingly energetic ‘Legzakimbo’ instructor.   I shouldn’t mock… the chap we had running the class today was incredibly good and blessed with an amazing ability to remember every single child’s name after one mention.  (Apparently he does children’s telly as his main job, which doesn’t surprise me.)  Anyway it was insane fun and I shall go back next week.  Also it makes the boy very tired… top result!

What else is new?  Well, Jim-Jam had his first go on some swings this weekend.  He’s technically a bit small for them, but he can more or less stay upright in the baby swings as long as he’s in his padded Michelin man outfit.

He also really enjoyed this  swivelly pudding bowl thing that we sat him in and span.  Seriously, it was almost lolcat cute…

And finally ***momentary slush alert***   …do babies ever look as beautiful as when they are in the bath?
